• Uber has built a "private-label" version of its delivery platform to help the UN’s World Food Programme (WFP) deliver supplies to war-torn areas of Ukraine. The platform, a custom-made version of the commercially available Uber Direct, enables the WFP to coordinate a fleet of smaller vehicles where it’s difficult for large trucks to access due to structural damage and threat of attack.

• International port operator DP World announced to have sold a stake in its home base, the Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, and other flagship assets to one of Canada’s largest pension funds for $5 billion, expanding the group’s reach into the Dubai-based company's operation.
