• Apple contractor Foxconn said on Sunday its revenue jumped 48.2% year-on-year to a record high of about $22 billion in January, as it shook off Covid-19 disruptions in China. Compared to the previous month, revenue was up 4.93%, with operations returning to normal and shipments increasing at its Zhengzhou campus in China, the Taiwanese iPhone assembler said in a statement.

• Foxconn’s iPhone plant in China's city of Zhengzhou is almost back to full production, with its December shipments reaching about 90% of initial plans, two Reuters sources said on Tuesday. Production at the facility was heavily affected late last year after a Covid-19 outbreak and curbs taken to control the virus prompted thousands of workers to leave, which was followed by worker unrest over payment issues.

• Apple supplier Foxconn expects its Covid-hit Zhengzhou plant in China to resume full production around late December to early January, Reuters reported citing a Foxconn source on Monday, after worker unrest last month disrupted the world's biggest iPhone factory. The world's largest contract electronics maker later on Monday said revenue in November fell 29% from October and 11.4% year-on-year due to production issues.
